Nurtured Nature

These two pieces completed in January 2012 are homages to the feminine domestic world that I struggle to fit into in the classical sense. Tomato skins from canning, drying plants and table decoration take on new meaning when juxtaposed in these unexpected ways. Recollections of a time passed, love lost and efforts of domesticity are preserved through the gathering and placement of these objects together.
